Coaches & Staff
Coach Mike Neschke has been playing the game since his senior year at Western High School in 1991. With a quick transition to beach volleyball, he has played in multiple beach tournaments both in Nevada and on the sunny beaches of California. In late 2007 he began coaching with a friend at the YMCA, and eventually took over the program in late 2009, forming the Las Vegas Volleyball Academy, Inc with fellow Coach, Player and Friend, Alvarrie Pinto.
Most recently Coach Mike has been the Assistant Varsity Coach for The Meadows School Mustangs for the 2008 & 2009 seasons. In 2008 The Meadows School Mustangs went all the way to the state tournament, but lost a crucial match, knocking them out of contention. In 2009, the Mustangs came back with a vengeance and took the 2A State Championships with a sweep, entering the tournament with only 1 match lost the entire season.

Coach Alvarrie Pinto is a classically trained setter from the ranks of Bishop Gorman and the University of Hawaii Pacific. Coach Pinto shares a passion for the game and the desire to improve the level of play in this valley. Through this great sport, he and Coach Mike struck up a friendship and have built the Las Vegas Volleyball Academy, Inc to provide training and development of all players, young & old.
